Matilda Mannström is a Helsinki based yoga teacher, goldsmith and jewellery designer. She was introduced to yoga in her early teens in 2007, and has been sharing her teachings since 2012. On her journey, she has met wonderful teachers world wide, and is currently studying with Yogarupa Rod Stryker. Matilda is passionate about exploring and reflecting on the body from within. As a creative, Matilda surrounds herself with beauty in in every-day life, which also reflects her yogic practice.

Intelligence is she who teach it, wonderful is she who learns in, blessed is she - who by guidance - understands it.
The journey is inside, and to be successful you need power. In this session, we will slowly and gracefully flow through empowering postures, creating stability from inside out. We’ll pay attention, practice deep listening and learn how to skilfully manage energy - how to master prana.
Once we see clearly, we can bring light into our shadow - witnessing ourselves thriving instead of surviving.

A stable and peaceful mind makes intelligent and mindful choices, right? But life surprises us with it's presence and impermanence when we least expect it. At such times the body and the mind are under pressure. Everything we do is a preparation. Every preparation propels us forward, closer to ourselves and our purpose. This class is all about the exquisiteness of self love – a hearful flow filled with the most delicate movements, allowing us to effortlessly and aimlessly living in the moment.

What is not here, is nowhere.
In yoga, self-awareness is key. Reflecting on freedom and capability. What am I here to do? What is vital? After I’m gone, what is left? How do I suffer less?
We might end up asking ourselves why we’re doing all of this. We are doing it to be able to understand the relationship between the different parts of the body, between the body and the mind, between humans and plants, and ultimately between the microcosm and the macrocosm.
In this session, we will gently move through a mellow sequence of Yin poses. Uncovering, wondering, reflecting and letting go. You will be guided through a deep relaxation, Yoga Nidra - also known as a Yogic Sleep. It’s like sleeping with awareness - maintaining full consciousness.
Let’s move away from time and space, from the physical body and the rational mind.
Please note: no experience needed. If you have a Sankalpa (intention/resolution) that you work with, it will be useful.
